Panhandle Dairy Women of Hereford and Global Animal Products, Inc. of Amarillo 2009 Scholarship Recipients are:

Andrew Johnson, who lives in Farwell and is a senior at Farwell High School. He will be attending Lubbock Christian University in the Fall and majoring in Agriculture Business.

Nathan Paschel, who lives in Hereford and is a senior at Hereford High School. He will be attending West Texas A&M University in the fall and majoring in Agriculture Engineering.

Gary Schlabs, of Hereford, who is completing his second year at Texas Tech University. He will continue his education there in the fall, working towards his Animal Science degree.

Each student was sent a congratulatory letter, a certificate and a check for $500. The PDWH would like to thank GAP for partnering with us to award these scholarships and encourage these students in their education in Agriculture.
